This game is terrible! My son purchased this game with his own money and was in tears when he realized what a "rip-off" it was. If you have seen the movie, you have seen the game. Basically, you watch the movie, and every few minutes the movie breaks so you can play a game. The problem arises during the 'loading' time. During the load time, all that is on screen is Nemo swimming on a black screen. We were so frustrated we timed the loading. It took a minimum of 2 minutes to load- the actual game only took 1 minute to play!!
I emailed the company (THQ) and they told me to exchange it. I brought it back to "Toys R Us" and they did exchange it. The second game was just as bad! I went back to Toys R Us and returned that one and explained the problem. I don't think they believed me, so they put the disc in the Gamecube they had at the store. When the saw how long it loaded they gave me a refund.
Final word. If you have patient children, they will love it. If you have normal children, they will hate it!

Good graphics, horrible gameplay2
It appears that a lot of new games coming out based on movies are actually getting better and better (a good example is LOTR:The Two Towers), but unfortunately, Nemo is not one of them.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the loading times are utterly unacceptable - loading take so long it ruins the flow and story that the game is trying to tell us (Nemo and his dad trying to find their way to school). And the gameplay itself is horrible and unintuative. Trying to navigate a little clown fish through the depths of the sea is an effort in total luck and frustration - if you want Nemo to swim up, you must push down on the control stick, if you want Nemo to swim down, you must push up. This control scheme may be alright for flight simulator games, but in a game that kids that will be playing is alien, confusing, and bass-ackwards.
The only saving grace for this game is the graphics. They are indeed good. And it is neat to see and hear all the characters from the movie. But these cutscenes and voices from the movie are the only things that will hold a kids interest, because the game itself is deeply flawed. Caveat emptor!

Finding Nemo - for the Gamecube is a decent game
good graphics
good music, BUT the music very noticably loops with a full stop in between
the game isn't really for the younger kids
my 8 year old was able to play some of it, but mostly kept handing the controller to her mother and I for assistance
cute characters, even our cat likes to watch it
but the absolute worst part of the game?
the load time, horrible, horrible, horrible
you can literally go and grab a snack between loads
and you even have to wait for the game to load going back to the main game screen
So to summarize, music could be less "broken"
load time needs to be a TON better
and if it's truly for the younger kids, difficulty is a tad high
still decent game, overall
